This is the last video made by the indie Spanish Band "La Monja Enana": Trucos de Salón, the second track of its last album "Humo y espejos". They heve recorded a naive and catchy electronic pop song, as usual, which is useful to be played in an indie partie, or in a monks' school girls trip likewise. The video has been shot in black and white, it devotes to tell a confused story more than to suit the music, so it's sometimes too slow and disconnected to the song.

Vídeo Entre Ríos: Tambor
"Tambor" is the newest video made by the band from Buenos Aires "Entre Ríos". The track appears on their recent homonym album. This is a simple story of espionage based on the song's lyric and starred by themselves in a comical way. The film is not a masterpiece, of course, but puts face to the most impressive song of this album: an easy pop melody carefully maked up with electronic adjustements which gets strength when Latin style trumpets sound show up

Iguana Lovers: Universo
Iguana Lovers is a band from Buenos Aires created in 1990. They have just released their last album "Esencial", recorded for Oxfordmusic. Its sound evokes to some post punk groups in the eighties, like Jesus and Mary Chain, or the shoegaze sound of bands like My Bloody Valentine, when creating a dense atmosphere through guitar distortions, what they combine with electronic rythmical bases and contained pop melodies. They have lanched a video of the track "Universo" which is worth to enjoy.
Vídeos: Sr Chinarro, Albert Pla
One of the latest videos made in Spain is the filmed for the song "Los ángeles", a magnificent song from the last work of Sr Chinarro "Ronroneando". Even though the film has been suitable made and fits with the musical development, it recreates different situation from which personally its music evokes on me. In this clip, a group of poshs enjoy themselves in a beach. I would prefer to watch Antonio Luque singing his song or having some drinks in a venue in Sevilla.
Agree aesthetically with his music, although perhaps too much humble with his video resources, is "Fantasma", from the last Albert Pla's work "La diferencia". He looks himself in a bath mirror when singing a rumba in Castilian whithin his particular style. The song evokes in melody and lyric to some tracks of his memorable "No solo de rumba vive el hombre", of 1992, such us "Joaquín el necio".

Vídeo The Cabriolets: Poco a poco
The Cabriolets is a group supported by mass media before its presentation, due to the celebrity of its singer and lyricist, Bimba Bosé. I reckon they leans towards mainstream for the use of elemental melodies within recognizable soul schemes and simple and limited instrumental support. That characterisctics, useful to many consumers, becomes usually boring and tiresome to people who spend a lot of time listenting to music. However, it's possible to find into their CD "Demo" some pieces borderline with the criterion music, as it is the case of "Poco a poco", their lats launched video, or "Cadáver Exquisito", which, being in good mood, could evoke to some of the many Latin American bands and singers which play fresh, creative and high quality pop there.

Here you are two of the latests videos recorded by Spanish artists . One of them is Balazalak, made by the musician from Irún Fermín Muguruza, the former singer of the Basque bands Kortatu and Negu Gorriak and collaborator of musicians such as Manu Chao, Tijuana in Blue or Albert Pla. This song presents his next CD Asthmatic Lemon Sound Systema. This one, within the characteristic style of Muguruza, counts with an elaborated instrumental development. Thevinyl's groove takes passage to one collage of diverse movies sequences: cartoons, circus, violence, etc, that fit in the rate marked by music.
In a different style, the French-speaker Barcelonan pop band Les Très Bien Ensemble, with tie members to groups like Cola Jet Set or Los Fresones Rebeldes, have brought to light the video from their song Sahara, a nice pop song from their last work Rougeole, acclimated in the desert supposedly of the same name.
